The Discipleship Training School (DTS) seeks to bring you into a more intimate relationship with God. It also allows you to discover your passions and your part in God’s purposes for the world. It is for those who long to follow Jesus in new ways with a different perspective.

The course is a full-time program and lasts five months. It consists of two parts: the lecture phase and the outreach phase. You will learn more about God and His world in the lecture phase. You’ll learn not only from lectures but also from community living and practical training. The outreach phase focuses on applying what you learned in the classroom through an intense, cross-cultural experience.

DTS is the prerequisite for not only becoming YWAM staff but also for YWAM’s second-level training. We are registered with YWAM’s University of the Nations.

About Youth With A Mission (YWAM)

Driven by God’s love we go to the ends of the earth.

Youth With A Mission is a global movement of Christians from many cultures, age groups, and Christian traditions who are dedicated to serving Jesus throughout the world.

We at YWAM unite in a common purpose to know God and make Him known. When we began in 1960, our main focus was helping youth get involved in missions. Today, we still focus on youth, but we also include people of all ages. We currently have tens of thousands of staff working from nearly every country.

Identity …

… should be Â grounded in the image of the creator God; no individual, people, culture, or nation can come to peace with itself until it meets its creator. God has created all of us unique and different. In the very identity of humanity created in the image of a loving God, is where we need to always begin our journey of existence, and the journey of embracing our large and diverse family.

Dignity …

… is essential to relationships, with oneself and with others. Restoring our dignity not only allows us to strengthen our purpose and relationships, but it also nurtures the championing of one another to see God’s best in each of us. It triggers dialogues that seek to understand and embrace. Diversity and unity are only possible when we see each other through the Creator’s eyes

Destiny …

… is where we head in life. It’s not just about having any destiny but one that truly is worthy and true. God destined us all to be with Him; here on earth, we get to practice what we will be in eternity, one kingdom made of many nations, people, and languages. To go to the Nations and proclaim freedom and restoration is our destiny until we meet Him face to face. We are each other’s inheritance.
